In Grade 2 we explore the effects and safety around extreme hot and cold temperatures.
We will learn how to read a thermometer and find out how insulation works. Our final project will be to work together in a group to design a container to keep an object warm or cold the longest, using insulating materials. We will also do a research report on how Arctic animals can survive in such a chilly environment. For more resources go to BGRS Engaging Students. |
